Operation Cubo – Activity Summary

Today we carried out Operation Cubo in the area of Ferry Lane, conducting random stop checks and have on vehicles to identify any motorists who may not be complying with road traffic laws.

The purpose of these operations is to:

Identify uninsured, unlicensed, or otherwise illegal vehicles that pose a risk to public safety.

Disrupt criminal activity, as vehicles used in crime are often uninsured or linked to other offences.

Increase road safety by ensuring drivers meet legal requirements such as insurance, valid MOT, and correct documentation.

Provide a visible policing presence to reassure the public and deter offending.

Support partnership objectives, including reducing road casualties and tackling vehicle-enabled crime.

Operation Cubo plays an important role in keeping roads safe and ensuring compliance with the law. Our activity today contributed to identifying potential offenders and promoting safer driving within the community.
